My buddy James was playing around at some local trails one afternoon and decided to try out his new lockers on this tree near the top of a hill. I actually recorded him the second time he tried it and he didn’t make it as far due to already spinning some ruts on the first go around but still very cool to watch and shows the advantage of having locked differentials.
Bruce Wiles, the original owner and builder of this awesome XJ on one ton axles, takes it for a rough ride up the speed bounty hill at Dirty Turtle Offroad Park in Bedford, Kentucky. The first two attempts are unsuccessful as you can see a good size ledge at the bottom of the hill causes his front wheels to become airborne and not able to steer. The jeep bounces into a pretty good size tree and the Jeep seems to take the hit without damage. A well built rig and good exo-cage allow him a third attempt in which he makes it to the top! The low quality iphone video doesn’t do this monster hill justice but it’s certainly still entertaining to watch.
I had a decent amount of footage of this chick from Dude Date and put together a short clip of her riding. I filmed most of it while we were at the Motorcycle Superstore outlet. She was pulling off lots of combos and killing the streets all day. Have a look for yourself below.
So a friend picked up a new Jeep ZJ that was already mostly built, or so it seemed. After trying to remove a log from the trail in reverse with a strap attached to the front bumper his control arms snapped and allowed the entire front axle to roll forward. So far forward in fact that the front differential cover and tie rod was facing the ground and the jeep now steered side to side rather than left to right. This was a first for me to see and we all got a good laugh out of it. Now someone hand me a wrench…
I happened to catch this awesome little flame throwing show put on by a man with a Pontiac Bonnieville at the 2012 Beatersville Car & Bike Show! He actually burnt a few leaves on a tree overhead! Watch the pyro fun below!
I went riding with my boys at One Wheel Nation yesterday along with some other locals and it was a perfect day for some wheelies through downtown Louisville, Kentucky! Weather was amazing minus a few gusts of wind. Check out the edit and how much fun we had below!
Not sure of this rider’s name(if someone can fill me in that would be great), but I caught this guy launching his Grom off this fun little berm in Shawnee Park. Just another reason these Groms look like so much fun. They’re such a hybrid bike that you can do nearly any riding style with them, not saying that you should try and sail one over a motocross double but these little bikes are perfect for shenanigans like this all while being street legal. I’m curious to see if any of the other big four brands (Kawasaki, Suzuki, Yamaha) will follow in Honda’s footsteps and produce similar motorcycles.
Snapped this awesome wide angle pic of Kentucky Speedway tonight! Took some other short videos and snapped a few fun pics. This is all for tonight, more coming tomorrow when it’s not so late and I’m not so tired!
