So a friend picked up a new Jeep ZJ that was already mostly built, or so it seemed. After trying to remove a log from the trail in reverse with a strap attached to the front bumper his control arms snapped and allowed the entire front axle to roll forward. So far forward in fact that the front differential cover and tie rod was facing the ground and the jeep now steered side to side rather than left to right. This was a first for me to see and we all got a good laugh out of it. Now someone hand me a wrench…
