DIRT HICKS FREERIDE ADVENTURES – 2019 EPISODE TWO – MAY MASH-UP
So throughout the month of May I’ve rebuilt the top end on my piranha 140cc engine and also been working out all the bugs on my pitbike after hardly riding it since last year. I had to swap carbs and jets along with other things. I also found a loose killswitch wire. It’s been a list of minor problems with it this season and on top of it all I crashed and broke my footpeg bolts which also busted my clutch cover on the right side of the bike. I was lucky enough to have some spare covers around but had to drill the kickstart shaft hole from 14mm to 16mm and swap the seals. Hopefully I have things fixed and ready for this summer now. I created this webisode from all my test runs and trial and error rides this past month. Thanks for watching and hope you enjoyed! So a couple weekends ago my bro Lance and I headed down to Leitchfield, Kentucky to hangout with my homie Matt Glasscock (owner/operator at Cock’s Stunt Parts) and get Lance some stuff for his Grom. We had a hella good time riding minis outside as well as inside the factory. Matt showed us around and gave us the tour as I tried catching some cool shots of what it’s like inside a day of making parts at the Cock’s Parts Factory. Barely made it to the street ride on Friday night at the Lost $60 Sesh in Cincinnati but thanks to my homie James we caught up to the pack. I normally would’ve taken more GoPro shots but I barely made the ride because of driving straight from work to Cincy so I was totally unprepared. I still had a blast riding with everyone and still got lots of sick shots with just the POV helmet cam and put together this webisode. This street ride was also the first time I’d ever taken my 140cc on Interstate highways and I was impressed with how well I kept up. Thought it was time I put together some pit bike action in another webisode. This lot sesh was in Louisville near the beginning of March and we had a really awesome day. The weather was nice and so was the turnout of riders, even some from Ohio such as Johnathon Mitchell which I featured in this episode. He kills it on the minis with tons of combos.
