A few weeks back me Nolan Gilbert got together to shred pitbikes. We tested out his new wooden ramp in the backyard and also hit up Eastview MX to ride our modded 110’s on the kids track. DIRT HICKS FREERIDE ADVENTURES – 2018 EPISODE 2 – MARCH LOT DAY – FEAT. JOHNATHON MITCHELL
Thought it was time I put together some pit bike action in another webisode. This lot sesh was in Louisville near the beginning of March and we had a really awesome day. The weather was nice and so was the turnout of riders, even some from Ohio such as Johnathon Mitchell which I featured in this episode. He kills it on the minis with tons of combos. BROKE MY FOOT AT THE ST. LOUIS ARCH – CAMERAMAN FAIL – PITBIKE VS POLE
I made the trip to St. Louis for Rando’s Ride this year and my buddies Steve and Josh wanted to go down by the arch before leaving town and get some wheelie shots. Sounded like an awesome plan but had no idea I would end up running into a short steel pole designed to keep cars from driving on the sidewalk that I was filming on. While staying more focused on the camera instead of what was in front of me I hit the pole with my left foot smashing it between my footpeg and the pole. This has gotta be one of the stupidest crashes I’ve ever broken a bone from but I’m just trying to stay hopeful that this won’t take too long to heal. Thanks for watching and please SUBSCRIBE! NEW BACKYARD PIT BIKE TRACK – MUDDY FIRST RIDE – DRZ110 PIRANHA 140CC
We had some warm weather this past weekend and my backyard finally seemed dry enough for my new track to be rideable. So I fired up the pitbike and gave it a try but the mud and soft spots left from recent flooding made it a real challenge on the 12 inch rear wheel lol. BUSTED ON THE PITBIKE – STILL GONNA SEND IT – STOPPING FOR COPS OR NAH?
So a few days ago I got the pitbike out for a few wheelies after work but ran into the fuzz, oops! Luckily he wasn’t too aggressive and just told me to go home but y’all know I ain’t giving up that easy haha. Had to get my throttle therapy for the day! DIRT HICKS FREERIDE ADVENTURES – 2018 EPISODE 1 – RIDING IN THE RAIN/FRESH TOP END REBUILD 140CC
I know it’s been a looonnnnggg time since I’ve uploaded a webisode and it was long overdue so here’s episode 1 of 2018. This was just some riding I did today while trying to work bugs out of my carburetor and finding some other issues with my wiring including a lose wire on my cdi plug. I had lots of issues I had to work out on this thing because it’s been nearly a year since I last rode it. I’ve really missed riding this silly little pitbike. This bike is the perfect stress reliever for nearly any day and even though it was raining and cold I still couldn’t resist testing it out and fixing all the little problems to prepare it for this year’s riding season. I’m hopeful to make a lot more webisodes this year like in the past and I have lots of ideas for this season. This episode is really just me riding around the neighborhood because I was too scared of breaking down very far away from my house until I know it’s dependable again lol. I practiced some swerving and did a few scrapes, I was surprised my riding wasn’t more rusty. She seems to be running strong again, can’t wait for warmer weather and more webisodes! I thought it was about time I uploaded some bonus footage from last summer’s DudeDate ride in Louisville, Kentucky. This is all footage filmed at Motorcycle Superstore before the annual street ride. PIRANHA 140CC TOP END DISASSEMBLY – YX140 PIT BIKE ENGINE
My 140cc engine has been in need of a rebuild for a while now so I finally decided to tear it down yesterday and make sure I only needed a piston and rings before ordering my new parts. I tossed on the GoPro to make this quick vid while doing so. These motors are super easy to rebuild on or off the bike but I prefer off the bike using my work bench and a Dewalt impact lol I love power tools!
